Grown-up fun has just started with the break of the spring season. This season unwind and explore the top 5 wineries across the Carolinas. We show you how to get in on the fun while you sip a variety of wine. Area vineyards are now open for the season and conducting events that support community efforts or groups.
#1. Biltmore Winery (1 Antler Hill Road, Asheville, NC) - this is the most visited winery. Here you will feel like a Vanderbuilt. Dining at the Bistro includes a scrumptious menu with fresh foods grown from the Biltmore fields, farms and vineyards. You can walk the Biltmore farms and then dine on fresh food from the farm. While you’re there take a tour of the wine cellar and enjoy the wine samples and bring some home. You can turn this into a weekend getaway by staying at the Biltmore Inn which is located on the famous hilltop of the Biltmore Estates next to the winery. I enjoyed stomping the grapes you should try it. http://www.biltmore.com/visit/Antler_Hill_Village/winery/default.asp
